The Association is non-sectarian and not affiliated with any political party or political candidate. Any resident or ratepayer within the Chatswood West Ward is welcome to become a member.

(Extract from CWWPA Constitution)

(i)  to represent the interests of the residents and ratepayers of Chatswood West Ward of the City of Willoughby;

(ii)  to preserve and improve the amenity and environment of Chatswood West Ward;

(iii)  to provide a co-operative and consultative forum and organisational support for the residents and ratepayers of Chatswood West Ward to discuss and resolve matters or issues relating to their environment and welfare;

(iv)  to encourage a keen spirit of community, citizenship and mutual help;

(v)  to co-operate with other associations having similar objects on wider issues;

(vii)  to facilitate two-way participative local government representation;

(viii)  to promote the Objects in a non-sectarian and non-political way;

(ix)  to promote good governance and transparency in government;

(x)  to do all such other things as the association considers to be directly or indirectly incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the above.
